Bye bye 1st Trimester

Wednesday we had our 12 week appointment and we got to hear the heartbeat. Mike recorded it on his phone and already sent the recording to Grandpa Hekker. The recording has made it to Europe! Hopefully my grandparents will be open the file. And I've been showing it off to all my friends at school. The sound is mesmerizing! I can't even describe it. The beat was strong and so rhythmic. It was like my favorite song but better. I'm sure any moms that have come before know what I mean!
