Pappy went home soon after News's Year’s Day. Not soon after the temperatures started dropping, like below freezing. Our neighborhood is full of dead desert plants that just couldn’t withstand a couple of nights of below freezing. I had co-workers who had pipes burst! Holy moly. Thankfully, that didn’t happen to us. Just the dead plants….
Last week, Brenna developed a fever and an ear infection. Off to the pediatrician we went who told us Baby G was his only case that day that wasn’t pneumonia, RSV, or the flu…. After that we tried to clear out of his office real quick! That was a Wednesday. She slept all day Thursday and mostly Friday.
One of the mornings, I decided to clean up the living room before Baby G woke up. Well, there is nothing wrong with her hearing. Her door slammed open and she runs out of her room yelling, “My Legos! My Legos!”
By Sunday she felt better and joined Uncle D and Aunt A for a birthday brunch for Uncle D. We all got baby time!
