….is hard to do. Especially on Mommy. Not only is Brenna warning us when she’s about to poop, she let’s us know when she has peed. This hasn’t yet carried over to actually peeing in her brand new potty. However, we’ll give it time. For now, we are responding immediately when she let’s us know that her diaper is dirty so she can start to understand that we are understanding what she is communicating.
The other thing we all did today was convert Brenna’s crib into a toddler bed. I tried not to cry. Where is the little baby that I used to cuddle in the middle of the night??? She had a very successful nap this afternoon in her “new” bed so we are hoping for a good night!
Maybe it’s not the best way but she uses her chair to climb into bed and then turns over on her tummy and gets off the bed feet first. She demonstrated this even when she was crying and screaming that she didn’t want to nap yet!!
Trying to find the instructions. And moving down the springs.
Helping Daddy retighten the screws.
So ready to try out her new bed!
Brenna tested. And approved. Maybe?
Stay tuned! We are all on Spring Break this week!
