I’d say our sister-in-law had pretty much a picture perfect pregnancy. After a few days of complete bedrest and battling high blood pressure, she (and coach Dan!) brought little Emma into the world on Monday June 20th, 2011. Miss Emma joins our Brenna in the next generation of Goldens. Welcome little girl, you are so loved!
Grandmother Kimi and Papa Golden braved the hospital and joined us. Hugging abound!
We didn’t leave the hospital until 12 am so we weren’t home until 12:30. And then there were still bottles to wash. Luckily Brenna went right from sleeping in the car seat to sleeping in her crib. We reset our alarms for 7:30 am but Brenna woke up right on schedule at 6! While preparing her morning bottle, I left her on the bed and came back to this:
