Happy Holidays!

Oh where did December go? I realized that my last update was almost three weeks ago. Nothing much has happened in our household besides all the goings on from this weekend.

Friday night Mike’s cousin, Ryan, graduated from ASU. It was a nice and short ceremony. Their speaker brought up something about cherishing the moments. He and his wife take 15 minutes everyday to write about their day, their children, and now their grandchildren. They have done this since Oct. 1978! Talk about old school blogging!

The graduate, Ryan H.K. Brown

Ryan’s mother, Aunt Liz, Mike, and Uncle Gary’s niece.

The proud parents!

The proud parents, Uncle Gary and Aunt Liz, treated us to a nice dinner at CPK. Delicious!

Saturday was spent getting odds and ends together. And sleeping. Saturday night, some friends took us out to dinner. Absolutely delicious because Mike got his favorite spiny lobster.

Sunday we celebrated Christmas with Mike’s family.

Alyssa received a very nice earring and cameo set from Kim!

It’s a Christmas tradition in the Golden household to get a birthday cake for Jesus. Kim’s birthday was last week as well to why not celebrate it all at once?

Monday was spent doing laundry and running errands. Tuesday was pretty much packing, packing, packing. Tuesday night we flew out and flew direct to Iowa. Luckily the weather held and we made home Wednesday morning around 2 am. Lots of traveling!

Mike and I did some Christmas decorating while my mom was at work. And later Mike helped Mom finish her puzzle.

Tonight we spent Christmas Eve at the house of some good family friends. There was lots of food and good dessert. We even did some Christmas caroling!!!

John had a little too much to drink.

Tomorrow is a day full of food and fun!

Merry Christmas!

Stay tuned. :)
